Description
Enchanted Learning
This is a website that is great for teachers of all grade levels.  It is not free to subscribe but the yearly subscription is fairly inexpensive.  This site has everything that teachers could possibly need!  My favorite part of the website is the extensive collection of graphic organizers.
Learn to Read at Starfall
Starfall is a free public service website but materials can be purchased that can be used with the website or separately.  It is a great learning tool for ESOL students that are just learning their letter sounds to advanced readers in the early grades.  At starfall students can read books online and listen to them at the same time.
Reading A to Z
Reading A-Z is not a free website but it is well worth the price.  In this site teachers have access to a variety of leveled readers.  Most of them come with lesson plans and activities that can be printed along with the books.  There are also a variety of assessment tools including comprehension checks, retelling rubrics, and running records.
Dave's ESL Cafe
This is a website that every ESOL teacher should have bookmarked and it's free!  This is a great place for teachers to get ideas for a variety of activities and lessons.  It also has a place to look for jobs and post resumes.
Easy Testmaker
Easy Testmaker is a free website that is extremely useful for creating certain types of tests.  With Easy Testmaker teachers can create multiple choice, true/false, fill in the blank, matching, and short answer tests.
Rubistar
Rubistar is a free website that is a tool to help teachers create quality rubrics.  Teachers can choose from a variety of topics to create rubrics based on a templates.  All of these rubrics are customizable and can be edited at any time.
The OWL at Purdue
This is site that is very helpful for academic writing.  I used it a lot as I was going through my TEFL program.  This site would be very beneficial to students in high school and college who have to do a lot of academic writing for their classes.
Del.icio.us
This is a site that is very helpful for keeping track of websites that I visit frequently.  Anyone can log onto this site and see your frequently visited sites and bookmark them if they want to.
ESL Images
This site has a large collection of ready to print flashcards to use with lessons and activities.  This is not a free website.
ESL Stuff
This is another website that has a large collection of flashcards for ESL students.  It also has a large collection of worksheets.  This is an easy site that both teachers and parents can use.
Phonics Interactivities
This is an interactive phonics website that can be used for all students in grades PreK-6. Students will be able to use and practice their knowledge of letters, sounds, and words as they play the games and activities.
Write Better Tests
This is a website that I was introduced to when I was taking the Evaluation and Assessment course at SNHU. This site is a guide to writing better tests including multiple choice, true/false, and essay items. This is a great site for any teacher.
Chinswing
This is great website that I was introduced to in my Computer Assisted Language Learning course. I haven't used it too much yet but I think it is a great tool not only for teacher but for students to engage in online discussion.
Fun English Language Learning
This is a website for beginning and intermediate English Language Learners. They can listen to and practice basic conversational skills.
Internet For Classrooms
This is a great website with an extensive collection of links to various ESL websites, lessons, and activities.
